JANUARY 17, 2007
Just wanted to write
a note to say my thoughts are with everyone affected by the Ice Storm in
southern Missouri. I, too, lost electricity, but was fortunate enough
to only be cold for a day. It's going on day six now, and there
are many who are braving this without a generator or wood heat. If
you're in a position to help someone, please do. This has been a devastating
time for a lot of people, and in working together we'll all get through it.
Good luck to everyone.

world has lost a wonderful person. Please read on:
One of the
most illuminated personalities I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, a
friend of the Statler Brothers for many years, and a friend of mine, Lynn
Whitmeyer lost her long battle with cancer. She was ALWAYS thinking of
others, and I never saw her without a smile on her face. She would
light up any room she entered. She passed with a happy heart looking
forward to her eternal life.
She will be missed. --Tara
