How I Got Together With The Statler Brothers:  Concert promoters, Al & Chris Zar, with Zar Entertainment  Group, Joplin, MO,  booked me as the opening act for three Statlers dates in June '98, and after the first performance,  I was asked if I'd be interested in joining them on tour for the rest of the year.  Later,  I was asked to become a permanent member of their touring show.
